Social Participation Program One of the educational goals of Legionary schools is to deepen the students'' sense of responsibility regarding the transformation of society and the need to build a culture rooted in the Christian values of love and justice. Hence, the Legion has launched a program of Christian charity directed by youth. The purpose of this program is to develop the students'' awareness and sensitivity toward the problems afflicting society. Students have as part of their curriculum a weekly class on the principles of the Church''s social doctrine and human development. They participate in monthly social activities in which the entire school community is involved: students, parents, teachers, and administrators. This program''s influence extends to parishes, shelters, hospitals, and schools for mentally handicapped children, centers for the blind, centers for children from broken homes, orphanages, day-care centers, and low-income communities.

The evangelizer seeks to fulfill his mission by pursuing these goals: educating others in the faith so they may miniangels preach and teach catechesis; forming part-time evangelizers; creating evangelization centers and teams of lay people dedicated to promoting a sound human and miniangels Christian formation; helping pastoral action; and promoting an integral human development through education programs and projects aimed at bettering living conditions. Prayer, Reflection, and Study Centers Regnum Christi members seek to establish centers for prayer, reflexion and study, retreats, spiritual exercises, workshops, as well as courses on Sacred Scripture, Pontifical Magisterium and other related themes. They are open to young people, adults, pastoral associates, religious and priests. Schools of the Faith The School of the Faith is a pontifical institute miniangels of pastoral catechetics approved by the Congregation for the Clergy in 1979. Its specific goal is to support the work of the bishops and their pastoral associates in local churches by training teachers of the faith, according to a plan of studies which will give them expert instruction in Catholic doctrine. Schools of the Faith foster close communion with the Pope and the magisterium of the Church and endeavor to supply today''s Catholics with the most modern and efficient teaching tools for evangelization.
