at present, 38 nationalities from five continents are represented in the legion. the age of legionary priests and seminarians is 28. throughout the year vocation discernment retreats are held at legionary novitiates for young men who want to test their call by spending some time with legionaries. the legionaries of christ and the members of the regnum christi movement understand their mission as a sharing in christ''s redemptive mission: salvation must reach every person without distinction. taking into account the pastoral programs of each diocese, legionaries and regnum christi members endeavor to collaborate in this task through the exercise of their specific charism. that charism is a spirituality that helps christians angels live their baptismal commitments in the midst of their craft personal, family and professional circumstances.
